  1. How will the roofing project start?

Alliance Roofing starts with a team meeting and prep to plan out the details, budget, specifications and insurance requirements for the roofing job. In order to deliver high-quality workmanship and value, we meet with our clients to understand their needs, explain to them our process and examine their roof. The NRCA suggests that you should get “a written proposal and examine it for complete descriptions of the work and specifications, including approximate starting and completion dates and payment procedures.” Alliance Roofing will provide the details of the project, keeping you “in the know” We value transparency and good communication between our team and our customers.

  1. How much will a new roof cost?

Every roofing project differs between the client’s needs. What it comes down to is cost of labor and cost of the materials. There are several factors that Alliance Roofing uses to determine the initial cost of the roofing project:

  • Roofing material that has to be removed
  • Type of roofing material being installed
  • Size of the new roof
  • Complexity of the roof that will be installed
  • Where the roof is being installed (The cost of a roofing permit varies from city to city in Colorado.)
  1. What kind of roof styles are there?

There are several different roof styles to choose from. This depends in part if you need a residential roof or a commercial roof. View pictures of our past roofing projects. Read below to choose what would work best for you.

  • Asphalt Composition Shingle Roof – What is a composition roof? A composition roof is simply an asphalt shingle roof. There are three different types of composition roofs – 3 Tab, Laminated, and Premium. There are many manufacturers of asphalt shingles. Each manufacturer offers comparable styles, colors, and warranties. Asphalt roofs are common in residential roofs
  • Tile Roofing – Tiles come in a multitude of styles and colors to choose from. They come with limited lifetime warranties.
  • Metal Roofing– Metal roofing systems are used quite frequently here in Colorado. Alliance Roofing can manufacture and install certain styles of metal roofing panels. If what you pick is not something we manufacture than we can install most all other manufactures products.
  • Flat Roofing Just as it sounds, it’s a flat roof. Most systems we install are a single ply. With these types of roofing systems can be mechanically fastened or glued down to your roof deck. Flat roofs have a limited lifetime warranty.
  • Live Roofing- An environmentally friendly approach to roofing that involves planting and landscaping on your roof. It’s ideal for an urban environment. Plants and soil provide the roof with a natural protective shield from the elements.
  1. What will you do in case of inclement weather?

As we all know weather in Colorado and Kansas can put a roadblock in the roofing process. Our roofers are prepared to take any precautions when it comes to weather. On days when there is rain, snow or hail, Alliance keeps the roofing job covered with tarpaulins or plastic covers. Our team will ensure that the roof is stable when the weather is not cooperating.

  1. Will you be cleaning up after?

This is the final part of the roofing process. The clean-up is still important, nonetheless. When Alliance finishes any roofing job, our team does it’s best to ensure that we clean up after the job, inspect our work and make sure we didn’t miss any critical details.
