Alliance Roofing has been developing our roofing process for over 20 years. Our owners have hands on experience in roofing construction, repair and replacement. Every roofing project requires different tools, materials and techniques and has its own unique problems. Whether you are looking for asphalt, tile, metal, flat or even a living roof, we have the years of Colorado roofing experience needed to do the job right.  Alliance Roofing has completed thousands of Colorado roofing projects using high quality materials and innovative techniques because we know that a sturdy roof involves much more than just nailing shingles in place. Alliance Roofing uses a unique step-by-step process that includes an attention to detail that no other Colorado roofing company can provide. Check out our roofing process below:

1. Team Meeting and Prep

We believe that a team meeting between our team and our client is a critical component to any roofing project. Clients expect their  jobs completed on time, on budget and with high quality workmanship. We feel that if we meet with our client and understand their needs, explain to them our process and examine the roof thoroughly we can often mitigate surprises later on. However, with any project if you take off the top layer of old roof — you often find items that need to be corrected. These items are often covered by your insurance when discovered.

2. Create a Strong Deck

The foundation of any roofing project is a solid deck. Without a strong deck, the roofing structure can fall apart during and after construction, and the work surface can be too difficult to work with. The professionals at Alliance Roofing have years of experience building strong support decks to support the roof covering. After that, we can conduct a thorough inspection of the area underneath the deck to ensure that there are no signs of deterioration, rotting or loose nails anywhere around the roof. If we find problems, we develop a repair plan immediately and provide our clients with estimated costs for the repairs. We can often work with your insurance companies to mitigate out of pocket expenses.

3. Waterproof Underlayment

The felt underlayment is important for creating a flat, even-surface roof.  The felt underlayment provides an extra layer of protection beneath the shingles to help prevent wind-driven rain from reaching the roof deck. We use high quality materials that meet your insurance requirements for this vital area.

4. Metal Work

The fourth part of the roofing process involves extensive metal work. We have our own in house metal fabrication facility to custom make any metal work you need. The team at Alliance Roofing has perfected the technique of installing metal drip edge around the perimeter of the roof and ensuring that each corner is properly fitted. Without a drip edge, water can run down the side of the fascia and siding — causing stains and eventual damage.

5. Shingles

Alliance Roofing is known for its attention to detail and high-quality workmanship. Whether you want asphalttile, or metal shingles we can support your requirements.  Much of this is attributed to the quality of the materials we use and how we apply the shingles on the roof. We have perfected our techniques for these different shingles and understand that you only want people with experience working on your project.Alliance Roofing Gutters and Shingles

6. Gutters

Smart homeowners are looking for a professional that can offer a variety of quality rain gutters at reasonable prices. Did you know that metal roofs require 5 inch gutters versus the standard 3 inch style? We have a team dedicated for gutter installation, repair or replacement. We have all of the in house equipment to custom create gutters to your specifications.

7. Cleanup

The final part of the roofing process – but the one that will leave the most lasting impression with our customers – involves the last inspection and cleanup. The team at Alliance Roofing takes the time to make sure that the roof meets or high standards, and we will clean up the construction site after the work is complete. The final inspection ensures that we have not missed any critical details, and that we can stand behind our final product and our commitment to you.
